Lions’ final two home-and-away fixtures locked in

The AFL has confirmed the fixture for Rounds 23 and 24, setting up a blockbuster finish to the 2026 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

Brisbane will host the Gold Coast SUNS at The Gabba in Round 23 for the second QClash of the season, before travelling to Melbourne for a Friday night lights blockbuster with Collingwood at the MCG to close out the home-and-away campaign.

The Round 23 meeting adds another chapter to Queensland football’s biggest rivalry, with the Lions and SUNS again playing for state bragging rights in the QClash.

For Brisbane supporters, the home clash at The Gabba will provide one final chance to see the Lions in Queensland before the end of the home-and-away season.

With the run to September tightening, the match shapes as an important opportunity to build momentum in front of a passionate home crowd.

The Round 24 trip to the MCG, will be just the Lions second game at the home of football this season, and a great opportunity for our Melbourne based fans to turn out in force.
