Coleman, who was sidelined last week after entering concussion protocols in Round 21, trained on Tuesday and is cleared to play.
Fellow defender Dayne Zorko also trained on Tuesday and will be available to take on the Suns.
The veteran experienced some hamstring awareness during the second quarter of Friday’s win over Hawthorn, which was later assessed as cramp and he played out the game.
The Lions have however confirmed Co-Captain Hugh McCluggage will not play on Saturday.
The midfielder was ruled out of Friday’s match due to a calf complaint following Captain’s Run.
Despite scans showing only a minor calf strain, the Lions will take a conscientious approach with McCluggage to ensure he is fully fit on return.
Emerging midfielder Reece Torrent has had ankle surgery, which with one game remaining in the VFL puts an end to his 2026 season.
