Jade Ellenger returns to Brisbane’s side for Sunday’s Round 9 clash against Hawthorn.

The premiership Lion, who has been sidelined since Round 6 with a wrist injury, will provide an important boost to Brisbane’s defence.

Eleanor Hartill, Evie Long, Sophie Peters, Lily-Rose Williamson and Claudia Wright will make up the interchange.

The emergencies are Lilly Baker, Rania Crozier and Madison Evans.

The Lions will wear their 2026 Pride guernseys this weekend, featuring the words ‘Love is Love’ across the front and a rainbow chevron across the chest. The design celebrates inclusion and diversity.

The Sunday afternoon clash between the Lions and Hawthorn gets underway at 1.05pm (AEDT) at the Kennedy Community Centre. If you can’t make the game, tune in on Channel 7, stream on 7plus, Fox Sport, Kayo, or Binge.
