Jack Crisp: Hey guys its Jack here, feel free to ask me some questions…
Emily G: Hi Jack, my mum and I are big fans of yours. Just wondering what your nickname is?
Jack Crisp: My nickname is just ‘Crispy’ or, at least, sometimes I get called ‘Cripsy’
Jacynda: Hey Jack, how old were you when you discovered that AFL was the game for you?
Jack Crisp: Probably when my Dad first gave me a football! He loved it lots and it didn’t take me long to love it too
Steve: Hey Jack. What do they have down in the water there in the Murray Bushrangers sheds? First Rockliff, and now you.
Jack Crisp: Not too sure, but the water is great!
Terry: Nice work breaking into the team Jack - by all accounts you've worked your butt off. There seem to be a few positions you could play, which one do you think is your best?
Jack Crisp: Not sure, I played mostly in the forward line as a junior, so I probably prefer that at the moment. But that might change soon…who knows?
Aaron: How are you finding the lifestyle of being a professional football player?
Jack Crisp: The lifestyle is pretty good. I am loving it!
Nathan: Hey Jack - do you ever get called ‘Peppermint as’ a nickname??? As in Peppermint Crisp?
Jack Crisp: Haha, no. I never get called ‘Peppermint’. Sounds funny though!
Alex: Are you living with any players at the moment? Give us some dirt.
Jack Crisp: Sorry Alex, I’m not living with any players at the moment
Tom: Hey Jack, I really enjoyed watching your first few games. Where you a little worried when you missed a few of those goals early on?
Jack Crisp: Haha, yeah after the first game a couple of the boys were calling me Lewis Jetta!
Annie: Hey Jack. I was a little disappointed when you weren't named for the Collingwood game - in your senior games you gave it a really good crack, which is what we want to see! Are you feeling positive about being named again soon?
Jack Crisp: Not too sure Annie! But I hope it is soon!
Emily G: Oops we've been calling you ‘chippy’ so shall start calling you crispy. What's your favourite food?
Jack Crisp: Haha, chippy? Pasta is always my favourite.
Adam: Hey Jack, well done on your year to date. Do you get to choose your number or do they hand them to you?
Jack Crisp: Cheers mate. No I didn’t get to choose my number, but its growing on me!
Matto: Jack, what’s your thoughts on Daniel Merrett’s beard? Personally, I think it’s incredible and he should keep growing it.
Jack Crisp: You reckon? He gave it a trim which I was happy about. I wasn’t the biggest fan of it.
Jack: What's your goal for this year mate? Do you want to bulk up at all?
Jack Crisp: I’m actually already on a meal and weights plan that’s helping me bulk up
Emily G: How did you feel when you kicked your first AFL goal?
Jack Crisp: It was pretty exciting! Was good how all the players came over to me
Jack: Ha! Adam. As if anyone would choose the number 47!
Jack Crisp: Number 47 is growing on me
Aaron: How are you finding living in Brissy?
Jack Crisp: Brissy is fantastic
Cooper: Hey Jack. What was it like to travel down to Melbourne for a game?? Was it good to have a few family members along?
Jack Crisp: Yeah, was pretty good! I got to see them all after the game which was great
Emily G: Do you miss your family and friends?
Jack Crisp: Yeah, of course! But I get to see them on a regular basis.
Olivia: Hey Crispy! What's your favourite kind of music??
Jack Crisp: I like most music
Kathy: Hi Jack, you would know a few of the GWS boys from Vic Country last year wouldn’t you?
Jack Crisp: Yes, I do know a few of them
Matto: If you have a son, what would you name him?
Jack Crisp: My son would be named Jack Junior, nickname JJ
Olivia: What was the last live band/act you saw then??
Jack Crisp: Actually never been to one. Although I’m going to Coldplay at the end of the year
Tom: Were you very nervous before and during the Draft? Were you worried about where you ended up? Or just happy to be selected?
Jack Crisp: I was a little nervous, but I’m glad to be at the Lions
Dom: Hey Jack, who did you support growing up? And even though you've only been here a few months now, have you well and truly become a Lion? Hope you stay here long term!
Jack Crisp: I was a Carlton supporter growing up, and yes, I’ve already turned the leaf to the Lions
Emily G: I heard you’re the best dancer at the Lions. Is that true?
Jack Crisp: Hahaha no. I don’t think I am. I think it’s Billy Longer
Bernie: Hey Jack, I bet the Lions have a cracking team behind the players - who is your favourite?
Jack Crisp: Rachael from Comms is the best
Phillip: Hey Jack, now that you have played a few games, has there been any players that have got under your skin?
Jack Crisp: Nah, none which is good :)
Caroline: I hear you come from a small town. Are you the local celebrity when you go home?
Jack Crisp: It’s a great town, but I have no idea. I haven’t really been home since Christmas
Emily G: Is it inspiring to play alongside 300+ gamer Simon Black?
Jack Crisp: Yeah, was pretty good playing with him for his 300th even though it was like going for a swim
Matt: Hi Jack, loving your work on the field so far. You could be the Lions’ next champion :)
Jack Crisp: Thanks matt!
Sarah: It must’ve been pretty hard moving to the other end of the country. Who took you under their wing? Who do u live with?
Jack Crisp: It wasn’t too bad. I have five aunties that live up here, which made the move heaps easier
Dom: Do all your aunties live together? That sounds like the premise for a great sitcom.
Jack Crisp: Haha, nah they don’t, but when they get together it’s a laugh
Gav: Hey Crispy, what are your favourite sports outside AFL?
Jack Crisp: The sport would be basketball
Karah: Did I read somewhere that you had an uncle that played AFL?
Jack Crisp: My uncle played 15 games for Richmond
Mia: Who is your 'bestie' at the Club???
Jack Crisp: Everyone is, haha
Jamo: Has anyone played any good pranks on you yet? If so who was it and what did they do?
Jack Crisp: Nope, not yet, which is probably a good thing
Emily G: Do you play any practical jokes on your teammates?
Jack Crisp: Nah, I don’t do any in case I get in trouble
Emily G: Can't wait to see you play your next game, hopefully this weekend. Keep up the great work Jack (Crispy)!!
Jack Crisp: Thanks a lot.
