This week’s throwback moment takes us back to Round 8, 1995, when Fitzroy secured their second win of the season in a stunning come-from-behind victory over Adelaide.

Down by eight points heading into the last quarter, the Roys came alive and piled on 55 points in the final stanza to shock the 39,888 strong crowd at Football Park, with the final score 15.9 (99) to 9.12 (66).

Adam McCarthy and Chris Johnson both kicked three goals, while Doug Hawkins and Brad Boyd also had stellar games.

The win would be Fitzroy’s last of the season.
