The Brisbane Lions will travel to Tasmania for pre-season camp, presented by Snap Fitness, on Friday, their fourth time in the Apple Isle since Senior Coach Chris Fagan came on board in late 2016.

One of the most pleasing aspects as they head into camp, is the health of the list.

Marcus Adams, has returned to training after a foot injury and will integrate into more drills over the duration of camp.

Allen Christensen, who had minor back surgery before the Christmas break, has started running again and over the next few weeks will integrate back into skills.

Second year player Tom Joyce has returned to running after suffering a stress reaction in his lower leg last year. Toby Wooller has a similar injury and will start running again in the next few weeks.

Archie Smith is recovering from a minor knee injury and will return to training in two to three weeks.

One of the main focuses at camp will be match play, with two game simulations scheduled at Twin Ovals.

The Lions will also train at Blundstone Arena, the ground where they meet the Kangaroos in Round 13. This match will be the Lions first AFL game in Hobart.

The camp will also focus on strengthening relationships between the players and their coaching group as they head into season 2020. During camp they will take participate in leadership activities and discussions with Leading Teams.
