ANZAC ROUND
Round 5 marks the celebration of ANZAC Day across the AFL, and is Australian Football’s chance to say thank you to those men and women who have served our country.
The Brisbane Lions would like to particularly acknowledge the Australian Army, specifically the 7th Brigade. The Lions have a long-standing relationship with the Brisbane-based Brigade which has included the shared use of training facilities, rehabilitation resources, camps and training courses at the Enoggera Army Barracks.
To mark ANZAC Round, the Brisbane Lions is honoured to welcome members of the 7th Brigade to perform the pre-match ANZAC Ceremony, including the ode, the Last Post, and the flag raising. The Club will also be hosting over 100 members of the 7th Brigade as guests of the Club at the match.
