Brisbane Lions Senior Coach Michael Voss has farewelled the Arizona training group and is embarking on a short study tour of the US.

While his players are slogging it out in both Arizona and Brisbane, Voss has taken the opportunity during the ‘conditioning-focus’ phase of pre-season to visit and consult with his fellow pro-sport colleagues up North.

Voss has kept fans updated via his Twitter account, with a specific message each time - constant improvement.

It seems that Voss is just as impressed by the facilities and programs run over in the US College system as his players at their training base at the Northern Arizona University.

He will be hoping to return to Brisbane with a wealth of information that can be applied to his Lions as they embark on their 2013 campaign.

Since leaving the group four days ago, Voss has tweeted:
