NAB AFLW Rising Star Nominee, Nat Grider, will make her return to the Lions’ AFLW side for their clash with the undefeated Fremantle Dockers on Saturday at Fremantle Oval.

The Lions will be looking to knock Fremantle off their perch at the top of the AFLW ladder and end their 11-game winning streak.

Grider replaces an injured Lily Postlethwaite who has been ruled out of the remainder of the season after going down in last weekend’s loss to Adelaide with what has now been confirmed as an ACL.

Grider had been in career-best form, the 20-year-old having cemented herself as a key cog in the Brisbane backline, before missing last week with a hand injury.

The remainder of the side remains unchanged going into the Round 5 match.

The Lions take on Fremantle at Fremantle Oval on Saturday afternoon at 2.10pm local time (4.10pm AEST).

Members and fans can catch the match live on 7mate in Queensland and Fox and Kayo.
