I am Auroara and you’ll hear my mighty ROAR!

Auroara is strong, powerful and represents the dawn of a new age.

This couldn’t be more fitting being the Club’s first female mascot and with our new home ground at Springfield on the horizon, it really is a new age for the Brisbane Lions.

John Pascoe CEO of Price Attack said, “As a major partner of the Brisbane Lions AFLW team, we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of bringing Auroara to life and making Lions history.”

Thank you to everyone who submitted, we were overwhelmed with the number of responses with thousands of entries, including multiple entries for Aurora. Our lucky winner will be contacted by the Club.

Get to know Auroara.

She’s powerful, she’s courageous, she’s got game ready hair and even better footy skills but, wait until you hear her roar!

Lionesses are known for caring for their cubs and feeding the Pride and she’s no different. Her cuddly, approachable and friendly personality will make her a fan favourite. Beware come game time because once she hits the field, she is ready to hunt!

Although she might not be as big as her brother Roy, she’s certainly faster, and more agile.

She takes pride in her appearance; her mane is always tamed, we can thank Price Attack for always ensuring she has game ready hair.

Fresh from our Lion Academy followed by a short stint in quarantine, she’s made her debut and can’t wait to meet you.
