The AFL has today released the dates and times for Rounds Nine and Ten of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
The Lions resume their Queensland rivalry with the Gold Coast with QClash scheduled for Metricon Stadium in a Saturday twilight spot in Round Nine.
Round Ten will feature a finals re-match to open the round, with the Lions hosting reigning Premiers Richmond at the Gabba on Friday night.
AFL Head of Broadcasting and Scheduling Marcus King said Rounds Nine and Ten offered a particularly good spread of competitive matchups.
“We have a few weeks until Rounds Nine and Ten are upon us, but they appear to be a potential nightmare for tipsters,” Mr King said.
“Looking ahead, we plan on releasing Rounds 11 and 12 next week, followed by, subject to any Covid setbacks, a minimum four-week block to provide further certainty for clubs and fans.”
