This week’s throwback moment relives Bradd Dalziell's first career goal against the Western Bulldogs in Round 20, 2008.

In just his third AFL game for the Lions, Dalziell found himself lining up for goal from a near impossible angle after a deliberate out of bounds call against the Bulldogs.

After a couple of brief looks around, Dalziell settled on going for goal and threading the needle with ease, much to the jubilation of a bumper Gabba crowd.

The goal helped the Lions cut into the Bulldogs lead, before eventually running over the top of them in the last quarter for a 13.12 (90) to 10.19 (79) victory.
