VFL Head Coach Mitch Hahn has made one change ahead of the side’s Friday afternoon clash against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.

Dangerous half-back Tahj Abberley returns to the 23-man side, with Tom Fullarton recalled to Senior Coach Chris Fagan’s Round 3 team following the absence of Oscar McInerney.

Tom Berry and Rhys Mathieson will look to lead the charge once again for the Lions, showcasing their physicality and attack in the content in last weekend’s 104-point demolition of North Melbourne.

First-year player Kai Lohmann shone brightly in the Lions’ attack, and will be looking for another strong performance after his five-goal contribution last weekend.

The Lions will head to GMHBA in search of redemption against Geelong, after suffering a 118-point loss at the hands of the Cats in Round 11 last year.

Geelong will meet the Lions on Friday off the back of a 22-point loss to Collingwood, while the Lions are building momentum following a strong win at home against North.

The Brisbane Lions will face Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Friday April 8 at 3:35PM.
