The Brisbane Lions have made five changes for their VFL clash against the Frankston Dolphins on Saturday night.

Harry Sharp makes a return to VFL level after three weeks in the AFL, with Noah Answerth unavailable through concussion protocols after a head knock against Coburg last week.

Coming off the back of a 117-point victory against Coburg, the Lions have been forced to make some changes this week as they eye a 9-0 start to the year.

Kyle Dunkley comes back into the side covering the loss of Rhys Mathieson who is expected to miss six weeks with a hamstring injury.

Darcy Gardiner has been elevated to the AFL and will be replaced by Lockie Rayner as one of the Lions key defenders.

Bailey Gordon will play his first VFL game of 2023 with Shadeau Brain ruled out through injury.

Cal Ah Chee is unavailable for selection this round after picking up a quad complaint which is likely to keep him out for one week.

The Lions will also manage Harry Arnold with Bruce Reville taking his place.

The game will be played at Melbourne’s Kinetic Stadium with the first bounce at 7:05pm AEST.

Lions’ fans can catch the live stream on https://www.afl.com.au/ or via the AFL Live Official App.
