Darcy Gardiner was recruited at Pick 22 in the 2013 AFL Draft and has the reputation for being a competitive beast. Now a premiership player, the 28-year-old is often used as Chris Fagan’s ‘Mr Fix-it’ in the backline with his ability to play on both tall and small forwards, each to great effect. Having been deployed all over the ground throughout his 183-game career, Gardiner will be another reliable operator at Chris Fagan’s disposal this year.
