The Brisbane Lions are hopeful of returning to training refreshed and recharged after their bye round break this week.
It is the Lions first full week off for the season after having played the first 15 rounds consecutively up to the midway mark where they sit second on the ladder.
Defender Tom Doedee is the only new injury for the Lions after entering concussion protocols following Saturday’s VFL win over Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.
However, Doedee is expected to miss just the one week and will look to be available for selection next week.
The bye week break also brings fellow Lions Henry Smith and Keidean Coleman both closer to a return with the pair likely to be just one to two weeks away.
