The Brisbane Lions VFL side will welcome back a host of AFL talent as they travel to Melbourne to take on Carlton this Friday.

Youi Brisbane Lions Academy talent Matthew Owen has been named to play his first game at VFL level.
After strong showings from current and former Youi Lions Academy talent against Southport last week, Ryan Gilder, Jake Fazldeen, Tristen Meekin and Wyatt Greenaway have all been omitted.
Caylen Murray who made his debut against the Sharks is unavailable as he prepares to play for the Allies in 2025 National AFL Championships while Jack Manly is also unavailable.
