Brisbane Lions forward Lincoln McCarthy has further progressed in his recovery from a second ACL injury by rejoining the main group for skills training.
The crafty forward, who hasn’t played since Round 8 last season, has also increased his training volume with the aim of returning to play in the next four to six weeks.
As previously confirmed, defender Noah Answerth will miss the rest of 2025 after rupturing his Achilles in the second quarter of Thursday night’s win over Carlton.
The following day saw midfield duo Deven Robertson and James Tunstill both enter concussion protocols following a collision in Friday’s VFL match with the Blues.
