The Brisbane Lions AFLW side have included three potential debutants for Sunday’s Round 1 match up with Hawthorn.

Irish recruit Neasa Dooley, 2024 draftee Claudia Wright and 2023 draftee Rania Crozier have all been named in the Lions squad for their first game of the 2025 NAB AFLW Season.

Ellie Hampson, who missed the Lions practice match against Sydney with concussion has been picked with Poppy Boltz unavailable after suffering hamstring strain.

The remainder of the Lions squad looks similar to the one from the 2024 AFLW Grand Final.

The Lions will face off against Hawthorn in front of home crowd at Brighton Homes Arena, with the first bounce from 12:40pm AEST.
