Brisbane Lions forward Eric Hipwood had surgery on his left knee on Tuesday as he begins his recovery ahead of the 2026 season.
As confirmed last week, it was recommended Hipwood have surgery to repair a partial tearing of his repaired ACL.
Hipwood joins Co-Captain Lachie Neale on the sidelines for the remainder of the Lions finals series, with the midfielder sustaining a calf tear in last week’s Qualifying Final against Geelong.
