Brisbane Lions AFLW small forward Ruby Svarc has entered concussion protocols following the Lions Round 8 win against Gold Coast.

Svarc was involved in an incident late in the fourth quarter which saw her helped from the field by Lions medical staff.

The Lions also confirm 2023 draftee Evie Long underwent surgery on her ankle late last week and has commenced her rehab.

While in more positive news, Ellie Hampson continues to progress well through her shoulder injury.
