Livewire small forward Courtney Hodder headlines one change as the Brisbane Lions AFLW side host Melbourne in Round 11.

Hodder, who missed last weeks 38-point win over Essendon, has overcome quad soreness replacing Sophie Peters who has entered concussion protocols.

Claudia Wright holds her spot in Craig Starcevich’s side named on the interchange bench along with Shanae Davison, Poppy Boltz, Ruby Svarc and Eleanor Hartill.

Dee Heslop, Rania Crozier and Ellie Hampson have been named as the emergencies.

The Lions are set to host Diwali Festival this weekend at Brighton Homes Arena as part of their Round 11 clash with the Demons.

Gates open from 4pm with the game starting at 6.15pm, this is the first time the club will integrate a large-scale cultural celebration with an AFLW match day experience.

There will be a wide range of food offerings, live performances, cultural activities, fireworks and of course, a great game of football.
