The Brisbane Lions will have a strong list of available players to choose from ahead of Saturday night’s Opening Round clash with the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba.
Cam Rayner is included on that list after sitting out of the Club’s two pre-season practice matches due to being managed with some minor groin soreness.
Rayner trained on Tuesday and is set to line up against the Dogs in a big boost for the reigning premier.
Recruit Sam Draper is progressing well as he recovers from a stress reaction of his foot, with the ruckman a chance to play his first game for the Club next week. However, the same injury is set to see fellow ruck Henry Smith likely sidelined for four weeks.
