Sam Michael: Hi Guys, Sam here, ready to answer your questions.

Roo: Sam how have assessed your progress this year?

Sam Michael: Hi Roo, felt i got some great experience in the NAB Cup that i have been able to use while playing reserves, and i have just started to string a few good games together so hopefully a few more opportunities will open up as the year progresses

Phil: Sam, You got best on ground last weekend? What do you feel are your main strengths?

Sam Michael: Thanks Phil, feel that my endurance allows me to play extended periods of game time as well as having an ability to mark the footy

John: Hey Sam, Congrats on the recent medal you reckon you are a chance of debuting this week?

Sam Michael: Hey John, just so you know i am not available to play senior footy unless i get elevated to the senior list as i am still a rookie

Jamie: Hi Sam, who is the best looking player at the club?

Sam Michael: Jamie it would have to be a toss up between Stakes and myself :P

Matt: How do you like it at the Bne Lions? Whats the best part

Sam Michael: G'day Mat, the best part of being at the Lions is getting to train alongside big JB

Leo: Hey Sam, how did it feel to represent your state?

Sam Michael: Hey Leo, it was a massive honor to be given the opportunity of playing for QLD, i was lucky enough to play for the U/18 state side so to then be able to play for the senior state side against SA was really exciting and a great experience.

Rhys: Hi Sam, what is the best part of being an AFL footballer?

Sam Michael: Hi Rhys, best part of being an AFL footballer is being paid to do the job you love!

Jono: who is the most annoying person at the club?

Sam Michael: Hi Jono, by far the most annoying player is Jesse O'Brien, always getting up to mischief and playing practical jokes

Matt: hey sam - I heard you come from Cairns. What was it like growing up there?

Sam Michael: Hi Matt, when i first start playing footy in Carins, AFL was only a small part of the community but after the 3 Lions premierships AFL became much larger. As a result , I was inspired to pursue AFL as a profession

Ben: Where do you prefer to play in the ruck or up forward?

Sam Michael: Hey Ben, i prefer to play in the forward line cos that is where the big bucks are made ;)

Kieran: do you have any prematch superstitions? and what do you eat the night before a game?

Sam Michael: Hi Kieran, i don't watch any AFL the night before a game and i like to devour a big bowl of chicken pasta!

Phil: Hey Sam,

Sam Michael: Hi Phil

Phil: Hey Sam, What key skills are you working on right now to become the best player you can be?

Sam Michael: Hi Phil, i am currently doing a lot of work on my contested marking as it is important for key position players to be strong in aerial contests.

James: Hey Sam, whats the best advice you have recieved?

Sam Michael: Hey James, would probably be "luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity"

Josh: if you could have any 3 celebrities over for dinner who would they be?

Sam Michael: Hi Josh, Good one, it would probably be Floyd Mayweather, Delta Goodrem and Kelly Slater

Alice: if you weren't playing football what would your job be?

Sam Michael: Hey Alice, i think i would make a great Big Brother contestant or sports reader

Josh: Are you a Delta fan?

Sam Michael: Josh, how could you not be!?!?

Heath: Who are your best mates around the club?

Sam Michael: Hi Health, Patty Weardon, Matt Maguire and Jordon Bourke

Sam Michael: Hey Roo, always looking to try and improve to make sure i am well acquainted with the skills of both ruck and key forward
