Gardiner has been sidelined since Round 3 with a dislocated AC joint which required surgery, while Berry has missed the last three games with a calf strain.
The duo both trained on Tuesday to put their hand up for selection, while teammates Lincoln McCarthy and Ty Gallop have been ruled out with hamstring awareness.
Fellow Lions Ben Murphy and Luke Lloyd are also a chance to return from injury this weekend with the pair likely to be selected in the VFL.
