VFL Team Announcement: Young Lions Trio Set to Debut

Three young Lions, Bailey Hahn, Sam Tilley and Harrison Bridge are set to make their VFL debut this Friday as the Lions take on Geelong at Brighton Holmes Arena.

Tilley, who recently joined the VFL squad following from Noosa in the QAFL will start up forward, with Bridge joining the midfield and Maroochydore product Hahn on the interchange.

Key defender Darragh Joyce returns to the VFL after collecting 12 disposals in the Lions’ win over Carlton last Friday at The Gabba.

Defender Ben Murphy will return from injury to the interchange as will Luke Lloyd who will return as half-back.

Youi Lions Academy graduate and 2025 AFL Premiership player, Sam Marshall has been selected for AFL duties and Hunter Moore is listed as the emergency.

Friday’s match against Geelong celebrates Sir Doug Nicholls Round with the club’s guernsey designed by Keidean Coleman.
