The 22-year-old midfielder said he is enjoying his football and is excited by the future.
“It feels great to re-sign at this stage of the year and I feel like I’ve been playing my best football this season, so to get an extension is amazing,” Tunstill said.
“The reasons I decided to stay are pretty simple - I love the group of boys here, the entire staff and our loyal fans.
“The club is a place where you can come in and become a better player and person, and I feel like I have grown a lot over the last four-and-a-half years.
“Brisbane is a successful club, and I believe that this group can continually push for finals each year.
“Seeing the boys win a couple of premierships has been great, but I would love to be out there with them in the battle.”
Torrent, another West Aussie talent who was drafted with Pick 64 in 2023 from Peel Thunder, said he is loving his football as a Lion.
The 20-year-old has been in strong form in the VFL and is determined another year at the club will help him further develop his game.
“I am very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to re-sign, which was an easy decision because I am in an environment I genuinely love coming into every day,” Torrent said.
“The culture we have here is great and I love getting to work with and learning off all the boys and coaching staff who I feel have helped me improve my game a lot.
“I will continue to do that and work hard so that when the opportunity comes, I can hopefully make an impact.”
