Hear The Mighty Roar follows the Brisbane Lions from the aftermath of the Club’s merger through to the pinnacle of the game, charting the story of the Brisbane Bears, Fitzroy, the creation of the Brisbane Lions and the defining moments that shaped a football dynasty.

Central to the series is the arrival of Leigh Matthews as senior coach and the generation of Lions champions who helped transform the Club into one of the most successful teams of the modern era.

The documentary revisits the historic 2001, 2002 and 2003 premiership triumphs, when Brisbane became the first club of the national AFL era to win three consecutive flags, cementing its place among the game’s greatest sides.
