The one-year deal will see the Lions veteran extend his decorated career into a 16th season, continuing a journey that began when he made his AFL debut in 2012.
Zorko said he was excited to keep building with a playing group determined to chase further success.
“I’m so excited to continue to be on this path with such a great team and such a great football club,” Zorko said.
“With others re-signing, it’s a really exciting time for the Club and I’m very happy and grateful to be given the opportunity to continue into a 16th season.
“The goal for all of us is to keep driving towards premiership success, and I want to keep helping this group on that journey in any way I can.”
Zorko has built one of the most impressive careers in Brisbane Lions history, playing more than 300 games, kicking 240 goals, winning five Merrett-Murray Medals, earning two All-Australian blazers, and captaining the Club from 2018 to 2022.
He is also a two-time premiership player, having been part of the 2024 and 2025 flags.
Brisbane Lions General Manager Football Danny Daly said the Club was thrilled to have Zorko recommit for another season.
“It’s great news for our football club that Zorks has re-signed and will continue with us in 2027,” Daly said.
“The way he continues to perform at 37 years of age is a real credit to his professionalism, preparation and hunger to keep improving.
“Zorks has been an outstanding player and leader for the Brisbane Lions over a long period of time, and his experience, competitiveness, energy, and leadership remain incredibly important to our group.
“We are really looking forward to having Zorks, his wife Talia and their family remaining at the Lions.”
Zorko is the second premiership player to re-sign with the Lions this week following on from teammate Zac Bailey re-signing on Tuesday.
