Round 2 of the NAB AFL Women's Competition will see the Brisbane Lions head West to take on the Fremantle Dockers this Sunday at 4.05pm WST at Fremantle Oval.

Here are five points to help preview what to expect:

1. Big out

This week Fremantle defender Ebony Antonio accepted a one-game suspension handed down by the AFLW Match Review Panel.

Antonio was charged with engaging in rough conduct against the Western Bulldogs' Jess Gardner during the fourth quarter of their Round 1 match, played at VU Whitten Oval on Saturday.

2. Honest coach Cowan

Fremantle coach Michelle Cowan expressed her disappointment in a Q&A on the Fremantle website after their Round 1 loss.

Question: What’s your general assessment of that tonight?

Cowan's answer: “Pretty disappointed, I think we certainly can play a better style, and bring better effort. Initially, a bit disappointed and look forward to reviewing the game and then Sunday is what we are looking forward to, making amends.”

You can expect a determined Fremantle to come out on Sunday, as they search for their first win of the NAB AFL Women's Competition.

3. Ones to watch

Kara Donnellan: Marquee player, captain, experienced and knows how to find the footy.
Tiah Haynes: A strong and intelligent footballer that can read the play like a book.
Ashley Sharp: Super dangerous around goals who loves to use her speed to run and carry.

4. Rain rain go away… or stay, we can handle it.

Forecasts of rain and storms for Perth this Sunday is not the weather we're hoping, but after our practice match and Round 1 game both saw wet conditions, we’re prepared.

The Brisbane Lions were the only team to win away from home in Round 1 and they're ready to do it again in the West.

5. WA to QLD and no looking back

Former Western Australian’s Sabrina Frederick-Traub and Jess Wuetschner will ensure Western Australian’s will be wishing that these two Lions stars never booked a one-way plane ticket East.

Both players have previously played at Fremantle Oval and will provide our Lions with some insight on what to expect.
