Who is your all-time favourite footballer or athlete?

That's a tough question. At the moment, my favourite athlete is the surfer Tyler Wright, I think she's got a pretty cool story. Ellyse Perry is hard to go past as well. In terms of football, maybe Jonathan Brown from Brisbane. Watching him back in the day was pretty cool, crashing packs and taking courageous marks.

Who is the worst teammate on social media?

Kate Lutkins is a shocker, she doesn't know what she's doing. She often posts twice without meaning to. Bre Koenen has an Android, she needs an update, surely now she's skipper she'll splurge on an iPhone.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a professional sportsperson, but was probably thinking soccer back in the day. Then from an early age, I knew I wanted to be a physio as well (Bodey now works as a physio). I think I was quite realistic as a child, or maybe not overambitious.

Who is your toughest opponent?

No one really comes to mind straight away. I hate lining up on my teammate Nat Grider during match simulation or at training. It's a bit of a cop-out (to pick a teammate). She runs for days, and I'm sick of chasing her up the field, I'm supposed to be the attacker and she's meant to mark me.

Which Olympic sport would you love to compete in?

One of the more laid-back ones, like maybe discus? That'd be pretty cool, I reckon you'd be able to lap up the whole experience if you just went out and through a discus a few times and then went back to the village and tried all the cuisines. I wouldn’t really like the glory sports like the 100m sprint or swim, too much pressure.

Which teammate is most likely to go on and coach?

If you'd asked me about a year ago, I would have said Emma Zielke (now an assistant coach at the Lions). Now maybe Shannon Campbell? I think she does a bit of coaching in her off time. She's more of a quiet leader, but has great qualities and knows the game really well.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?

I'm very superstitious. Across the season, I have to have the same meal the night before and the morning of the game, wear the same shoes, underwear, sports bra, do the same hair, all that sort of stuff, it's a bit much. I try to switch up the dinner and breakfasts each season, so it's dictated by whatever I eat before a practice game and if I play well.

What was the first concert you attended?

It's embarrassing, but Jason Derulo. I was very young. But I like to think my music taste has matured as I have.

What is the non-football accomplishment of which you're most proud?

Probably buying my first house last year or being a physio. The house one is pretty cool.

Would you prefer to take Mark or Goal of the Year?

I reckon Mark of the Year. I'd love to get up on someone's shoulders and take a hanger, but I just can't see it happening. Now that I've said it, I might try and manifest it.
