The Brisbane Lions VFL will welcome back a host of AFL talent for their final game of 2025 Smithy’s VFL home and away season on Sunday against Frankston.

AFL-listed Will McLachlan along with Henry Smith and Deven Robertson return to the VFL side as the Lions chase a top six finish to secure their place in the first week of finals.

Youi Lions Academy member, Cooper Hodge will play his second game at VFL level as Jack Manly returns from concussion protocols.

Luke Beecken has been elevated to the AFL side to make his debut along with Sam Day.

Jake Fazldeen, Tristen Meekin and Taylem Wason have all been omitted.

The Lions travel to Kinetic Oval to take on Frankston from 1:05pm Sunday August 17, for Lions fans and members looking to get to the game tickets can be purchased here.
