The Brisbane Lions have named their first team of the 2025 NAB AFLW Season ahead of their Round 1 match up with Hawthorn on Sunday.
Shanae Davison plays her first game in Lions colours since Round 10 last year, and has been named on the interchange bench alongside Evie Long, Courtney Hodder, Shannon Campbell and Eleanor Hartill.
Ellie Hampson, who missed the Lions practice match against Sydney with concussion, has been selected with Poppy Boltz unavailable after suffering a hamstring strain.
Draftee Claudia Wright, Irish recruit Neasa Dooley and Rania Crozier have all been named as emergencies.
The Lions will face off against Hawthorn in front of a home crowd at Brighton Homes Arena, with the first bounce from 12:40pm AEST.
