The Brisbane Lions remain hopeful of regaining Co-Captain Hugh McCluggage for next week’s Round 3 match against St Kilda.
McCluggage, who was sidelined last week with a calf strain which occurred in Opening Round, will need to train strongly next week to get the green light.
Forward Logan Morris (hand) and defender Tom Doedee (wrist and knee) are also on track to be available for selection next week.
The Lions have the bye this round, allowing McCluggage and teammates to use the week for an early season freshen up.
