Midfielder Jarrod Berry and defender Noah Answerth are expected to return this weekend after they trained on Tuesday.
Both players will train again on Thursday to put their hand up for selection.
Key forward duo Eric Hipwood (knee) and Oscar Allen (foot) are both showing promising progress from their respective injuries.
Hipwood is closing in on being back playing within the next two to three weeks, while Allen continues to recover well with his return to play sitting at seven to nine weeks.
It is also encouraging signs for defender Jack Payne (knee) who has started running and building strength.
While veteran premiership defender Dayne Zorko (quad) has not been able to tick the boxes required to return and will be given more time to improve and train accordingly.
