Zane Littlejohn believes that the Lions' pre-season trip to Tasmania has presented valuable team-building experiences for the players and coaches.

Littlejohn returned to Launceston this week, which is the home of the North Launceston Football Club (Utas Stadium) that he coached to back-to-back flags in 2014-15.

The Lions will fly to Brisbane tomorrow morning to end their seven day camp and are armed with a new game plan and greater bonds.

"Their attitude and effort (over the camp) was really pleasing," said Littlejohn.

"Our new draftees have been able to spend some really valuable time with our more experienced players - you're with each other 24/7 around the clock just learning the ins and outs of each other."

The Lions had their final training session at Utas Stadium this morning - which included playing two ten minute halfs (18v18).

"The game plan has been rolled out and that understanding is going to be really good for our football club and for our young men to develop and grow and be the best they can."
