Justin Sherman and Luke Power are probably the biggest soccer fans at the Club.
Shermo knows just about every player and is the resident expert when it comes to soccer. Although he is also a fair ship-jumper because he seems to just follow whoever is going well at the time.
As a Lions member in Perth, I just wanted to know whether the boys have any changes in their training week when they come to play at Subiaco? Also, can you please beat the Eagles in round 19 for me?!

No, we don’t change our training much when we travel to Perth.
We generally head over there maybe a day earlier than usual, but we still only have the one main training session.
As for beating the Eagles, we’ll certainly do our best for you.

Yeah, Yoshi is going well in the Reserves.
As long as he keeps eating his Shark Fin soup, then I think he could be a chance to play seniors one day.
I think Todd Banfield has had an awesome year but he never gets mentioned much in the AFL shows. Do you think the Brisbane Lions players don’t get enough credit because they are a Brisbane team?

Yeah, it’s sometimes hard up here because we’re competing pretty heavily with the two rugby codes.
Sometimes that means that our guys are kept out of the spotlight - which is something some of the boys up here actually enjoy.

There’s not a lot of that stuff going on, although there is this one old bloke named Barry who is the Team Manager and I get stuck into him sometimes.
I like to order breakfast to his room at 5am in the morning and hide his false teeth when they fall out of his mouth.

Unfortunately Charmo went under the knife last week and has been ruled out for the season. His ankle had obviously been giving him some problems this year.
Hopefully we see him back out on the park sooner rather than later.
