The Brisbane Lions AFC are pleased to announce that Jed Adcock and his partner Hayley became proud parents last night following the birth of their daughter Lily Rose Adcock.

Both mum, baby and dad are doing well.

First-time father Adcock had a nervous wait leading into the Lions' season opener and will be relieved to know that he won't be needing to make any potentially tough decisions this Saturday night.

It is the second new arrival at the Lions after Luke and Anita Power also welcomed a baby daughter into the world last month.

The entire Club - on behalf of all its members and supporters - congratulate both Jed and Hayley on becoming first-time parents.
