The Brisbane Lions wish to advise the following regarding Match Review outcomes from Saturday night’s game with the Western Bulldogs.
The club confirms it will challenge the sanctions handed to Co-Captain Harris Andrews and defender Darcy Gardiner.
Andrews and Gardiner were both charged for striking, resulting in a three-match and one-match suspension, respectively.
The Club will however accept Zac Bailey’s one-match suspension for striking.
With these matters now to be heard by the Tribunal, the club won’t make further comment at this time.
The AFL will advise of further details of when the Tribunal will sit.
