Brisbane Lions Co-Captain Hugh McCluggage remains a test for this week’s Gather Round clash with North Melbourne.
McCluggage, who has been sidelined with a strained calf from Opening Round, trained on Tuesday and will train Thursday before the club decides on his return.
Defender Noah Answerth remains in concussion protocols with the aim to train later this week as he looks to put his hand up for selection.
Lions pair Darcy Gardiner and Dan Annable have both undergone shoulder surgery and will return to the club to begin their rehabilitation this week.
