The Brisbane Lions have cruised to their fourth win of the VFL season, overrunning Coburg by 65-points at Moreton Bay Sports Complex on Saturday.

It was another day out for Rhys Mathieson as he collected a game-high 39 disposals and continued to push his case for a senior recall.

Mitch Robinson again impressed in his second game back from a calf injury with a best-on-ground performance, slotting three goals from 31 touches while clunking 9 marks in the process.

Lions’ fans will monitor Will Ashcroft’s development closely this year, with the potential father-son prospect again showing recruiters why he’s a potential #1 draft pick.

Having celebrated his 18th birthday only three days ago, Ashcroft enjoyed a casual 32 disposal, 7 tackle, one goal game and looked comfortable at the level.

Jimmy Tunstill was also among the best for Brisbane, with Head Coach Mitch Hahn commending the youngster on his development.

“Jimmy Tunstill’s been really good for us,” he said.

“We’re really liking the way he gets out of contests and uses his speed. He’s played forward, wing and mid this year which has given him some great learning.

“He’s had some really tough contests and has a great work ethic, we’re excited about his development and how’s he progressing.”

Hahn also said young tall, Kalin Lane has been impressing.

“Kalin’s been fantastic.

“He was our number one ruck on the weekend and had massive responsibility but his aggression and follow up work was really pleasing.

“He’s really been working really hard and is improving every week.
