Squad Announcement: Lions name squad to face Demons

The Brisbane Lions have named their squad ahead of Sunday afternoon’s clash with Melbourne at the MCG.

Premiership defender Dayne Zorko is the one confirmed out for the Lions due to a calf strain which occurred during last weekend’s Gather Round win over North Melbourne.

Fellow premiership defender Noah Answerth has recovered from concussion to be added to the squad with coach Chris Fagan naming him on a half-back flank.

The other inclusions are Zane Zakostelsky, James Tunstill and Shadeau Brain who are listed on an extended bench with Kai Lohmann, Lincoln McCarthy, Hugh McCluggage, Zac Bailey and Logan Morris.

Sunday’s match at the MCG is scheduled to start at 3:15pm and will be broadcast live on Seven, Fox Footy and Kayo.

The Lions will name their final team at 5pm on Friday.
