Squad Announcement: Hipwood headlines inclusions for Lions

The Brisbane Lions have selected their squad which will head down to Tasmania for their Round 14 match with Richmond.

Included in the squad is key forward Eric Hipwood who will make his long-awaited return following a knee injury which he sustained last year, should he receive the call up for selection it will mark his 200th game in the AFL.

Skipper Harris Andrews will also join the club of milestone men as he plays his 250th game this round.

Premiership Lion Sam Marshall and defender Luke Beecken are again knocking on the door of AFL selection after being recalled to the squad.

The pair join the current extended interchange of Jaspa Fletcher, Conor McKenna, James Tunstill, Shadeau Brain and Darragh Joyce.

The Lions will release their final team on Friday at 5pm.
