Kicking off the double-header sees the Lions looking to bounce back in Round 11 of the AFL, with premiership forward-turn-defender Ty Gallop returning from concussion.
Exciting goalkicker Will McLachlan also comes into the AFL team after being rewarded for his form in the VFL.
Going out of the side is dual-premiership defender Ryan Lester who will miss after injuring his calf at training on Thursday, while Cody Curtin returns to the VFL.
Gallop is named to start in defence while McLachlan is listed on the bench alongside Jaspa Fletcher, Sam Marshall, Conor McKenna and James Tunstill.
The three emergencies are Luke Beecken, Zane Zakostelsky and Shadeau Brain.
