Midfielder Jarrod Berry returns after recovering from a calf injury, while defender Noah Answerth will play his first game since Round 3 due to concussion.

The key pair will be joined by exciting utility Cody Curtin who impressed in the VFL last week booting four goals.

Curtin and Answerth have been named on the interchange alongside Jaspa Fletcher, Will Ashcroft and Connor McKenna on the bench.

The three outs for the Lions are Sam Marshall, James Tunstill and Will McLachlan who have been omitted and set to return to the VFL.

Tunstill is listed as one of three emergencies with Shadeau Brain and Darragh Joyce.

Saturday afternoon’s clash against Fremantle is scheduled for a 4:15pm start and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
