Co-Captain Hugh McCluggage (calf) and veteran Dayne Zorko (quad) are expected to be available for selection this week, with the pair to return against Essendon at the Gabba.
Forward Will McLachlan (quad) and defender Tom Doedee (calf) are also in line to be available for selection if they get through training – with VFL returns most likely.
Premiership defender Darcy Gardiner will miss Sunday’s match due to a hamstring strain which will rule him out for approximately four to six weeks.
The club also confirms fellow defender Jack Payne will not return to play in 2026.
The decision was made following a review with his surgeon last week and due to the end of the season fast approaching.
Payne has made positive inroads in his rehabilitation, though the decision allows him to focus on returning in 2027 in the best condition possible without the added pressure of rushing back this season.
Duo Keidean Coleman (hamstring) and Dan Annable (shoulder) also made successful returns from injury in the VFL on Saturday and will continue to push for AFL selection.
